Ben Miller sets Duke single-season home run record vs. FSU in ACC Tournament

Ben Miller provided fireworks and history for Duke baseball in the ACC Tournament championship game Sunday at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.
On the second pitch of his at-bat, Miller hit a high-fly ball out of the park off Florida State pitcher Yoel Tejada for a grand slam and pushed the Blue Devil lead to 9-2 in the top of the fourth inning. The home run was the 110th of the season for No. 6 seed Duke, which set a program single-season record. The Blue Devils added a second grand slam off the bat of Devin Obee to push the lead to 14-4 in the sixth.

The Blue Devils are seeking their second ACC Tournament championship, and could lock themselves into a top-16 seed and as a regional host with the title. This marks the second straight season Duke set a new program record in home runs.

Miller was the fourth hitter at the top of the fourth inning, coming to the plate after two walks and a hit by pitch. He took an 0-1 fastball and hit it 400 feet, over the party deck at Truist Field.
The home run was the 110th of the season for the Blue Devils and helped them jump out to a 9-2 lead.
Obee hit his second home run in as many days in the sixth inning, pushing the Blue Devil lead to 10 runs. His home run was the second grand slam of the night for the Blue Devils and went 406 feet. Here's the video:
